For it's 63rd annual Plenary Meeting held in Mumbai, India, the International Cotton Advisory Committee published data and analyses on world cotton production, consumption, trade and stocks. Participation to this meeting reached a record high for several reasons. Two main reasons are the importance of cotton in current WTO discussions and the prominence of India as a cotton producing and importing country.
